Bon Voyage My Friend...

Met Shirlene today City Hall's Cafe Cartel before she leaves for a mission trip in Japan for a good 1 month. Mr Genki apologises for being late again. He is turning more and more ill-discipline already...

Cafe Cartel offers a wide variety of food. Shirlene was telling Mr Genki that he would have been able to catch the set lunch offer if he had been on time. Set lunch go as cheap as $9.50 with the soup of the day, main course and a drink. Such is the punishment for being late...

Oh well... Have to settle for the ala carte items. Mr Genki settles for the Haiwaiian Chicken Leg while Shirlene decides that she should go light by getting a Waffle with Ice Cream and Banana topping for lunch. What? Waffle for lunch seems far too light. Maybe too light for a guy only...

Then came Liwei, Shirlene's friend from Law Faculty. Without too much hesistation, he settles for the pork chop. I should say Pork Chopsss. Good Old Cafe Cartel offers Pork Chop in treble!

We had a good chat and good food. Not forgetting to mention that Cafe Cartel has a unique house rule of waiving that 10% "compulsory tipping"! Cool! That's not the end. In addition to waiving "compulsory tipping", students get a further 20% discount! We all know that poor old 5% GST (that will turn 7% this July) is inevitable. Just look at how much value you can derive by eating at Cafe Cartel, but only as a student!

Mr Genki would like to wish Shirlene Bon Voyage, with lots of blessings!
