A Picture Paints a Thousand Words

12:45am and he couldn't sleep. He's angry. Actually he's just hungry. But a hungry man is an angry man right?

Misfortune befalls when Mr Genki's supper buddy told him that he's out. Lonely as it will be, but he's still hungry.

So he took a short walk to the kopi-tiam. Accentuates that this is all done alone. Mr Genki is so desperate to get his stomach filled. Without much delay, he settles for the fishball noodles.

Next up is a couple of thousand words.

The Fishball noodles were just average. He could not care much since he's so famished.

5 minutes later... ...

I'm just too angry with the noodles for staring at my pathetic Sony Ericsson W510i integrated camera. More because I was hungry. I'm also angry with the bowls and chopsticks for staring at my camera too. Fortunately, I'm not hungry anymore.

Hunger is such a wonderful phenomenon. Not only because it makes you eat alone, but it also makes you blog.

Less Sleeping, more Swimming and Shopping

There goes Mr Genki's "Low Batt"(remind me to show you what "Low Batt" is when you see me) HP alarm again. The clock reads 930am. Snooze and back to trance like state.

9 minutes later... LB alarm again. Snooze again. Back to lala land again.

18 minutes later... The recurring alarm finally managed to wake Mr Genki up. Sorry to disappoint you if you've thought that it's snooze again.

Early bird catches the water. Yes, Mr Genki was meeting Steven, one of his JC buddies, for a swim at Clementi Swimming Complex. Whooosh, took the dip and off we went. The sun wasn't really good initially, but it decided to reveal it's majestic self from the clouds after some time. Mr Genki was sure lady luck smiled at him.

12:21pm and time to hit the tanning beds. We must be crazy. We're indeed crazy for the the sun to incinerate us. As the hopeful to get tan-ner Mr Genki spray himself with Banana Boat Tanning Oil and enjoy the sun.

Mr Genki never gets enough of the sun. Took another dip back into the waters again. This time round struggling to get my free style strokes right.

Eventually we decided that it's time we should tuck in as it's way past a good timing for lunch. And Botak Jones, here we come. Regretted not taking pictures on the Fish N Chips Mr Genki had and Cajun Chix that Steven had.

We both decided that we had nothing much to do for the whole afternoon and decided that we'll visit good old vivo city for some air-con after exposing ourselves too much to the unbearable heat. Sheesh, what a huge lie.

Was window shopping, conspicuously. What Topman offers this season isn't that appealing to Mr Genki. Anyway Mr Genki had no intention at all to buy anymore clothing for the moment. So he bought chocolate digestives from Marks & Spencer and a nice adidas bottle. And Ciaos vivo.

Not any less eventful than it can get for the brotherhood today. Brotherhood can only get more eventful on a battlefield.

Roars, the bored Spartide - Mr Genki

Gordon Me?

After years and years of searching Mr Genki finally found an uncommon name in Singapore which he could use as his alias.

Mr Genki presents to you: Gordon Tan Guang Hong. If you have notice, the initials turned out to be GTGH, which can mean Got To Go Home. So next time if you see Mr Genki rushing home arbitrarily, you don't really have to ask why. ROFL.

From wikipedia:

Gordon
is a traditional Scottish clan name (see Clan Gordon) and it is now a common given name and a less common surname. It is thought to be Celtic for "great hill" from the Celtic words "gor" which means "great" and "dun" which means "hill". It is also a fairly common surname of some Eastern European Jews (Hebrew: גורדון Russian: Гордон); its origin in this usage derives from Grodno.

"Great Hill" sounds tall and majestic. Let's hear it from you if Gordon is good for Mr Genki. If I get 10 votes for this name, then I'll Go Home.

They've got Class!

Got this from good old Cheryl's blog. Decided to put it here to share with anyone who's still reading this blog. Eh... Is there still anyone?

Nevermind... What is important is: they really have class! Enjoy!
