Prepare for landing... On the Bums...

There he was at East Coast Park, embarrassed by the likes of roller blades, blading with his fellow V5 revolutionaries. Mr Genki wanted to wipe off those evil grin on the freshies faces as they thought he was going to fall flat on blades.

Surprisingly, Mr Genki's balance on the blades were not too bad. Even though it had been long since he bladed (I don't remember balancing so well back then.. Ha).

Steady... Steady......

There, balanced...

Trouble!

And there they have it... On the Bums... And the freshies went "HAHAHA... Finally!". Evil...

And the pics are a misrepresentation of the actual number of people we had. Four of us were blading while four others were on foot. No one was willing to help me with my haversack. How compassionate. And blading is quite demanding, judging from the way we perspired. Which is why Mr Genki haversack's straps got wet eventually. zZz

Here's more pics. Special thanks to Jaren for providing them!

While Mr Genki was on his way...

Fantastic Four!

We then met Geraldine at City Hall for dinner. Mr Genki recommended Sakae buffet at Funan. Upon hearing the word "buffet", we all headed to Funan without second thoughts. Most of us had ambivalent feelings about our hunger. At first we mentioned that we're not that hungry but after a while, everyone suddenly became hungry at a snap of the fingers. Wonders of Japanese cuisine. zZz...

Buffet at Sakae cost $15.90++ for youth and senior citizen and $18.90++ for adults. Six of us went in and 5 fall under the former category while Mr Genki falls under the latter. Good Grief, one good year older makes a whole lot of difference. Sigh... The title "Mr" does make this body feels much older...

As we toasted with our final handroll...

V5! Sup sup Oooeeeii!
