5k vs V5. I prefer the latter...

830am in the morning and Mum was all out to drag me away from the comforts Mr Genki's bed. Mr Genki knows the reason for such a disturbing act. But all was justified by the fact that he had to get the tuition fee loan settled by today. No more procastination.

Dragging himself up, Mr Genki took a quick wash-up and snappy breakfast. All set to head for OCBC bank (I really hate that place). He knew that this every step in this trip is going to be heavy. He knows that because his decision today is to pay off the $5k loan in order to acquire a new loan. He knows exactly that this is so dumb and illogical. He has got no choice.

He was delusioned. Smiling and greeting customers are just basic courtesy and part of the bank officers etiqutte. But Mr Genki can go to the extent of thinking that they're smiling because he is there to pay off his debt! How deranged!

It had been settled, albeit reluntantly.

Fortunately, my V5ers never fail to light up my day. 23 strong turned up for the $2 dirt cheap Harry Potter movie outing today. Though there was a last minute change in venue, but we shouldn't be complaining too much if we're paying like only 2 bucks.

It was free seating in the theatre. V5ers believe in strength through unity, unity through faith. In order to uphold unity, we waited for everyone to arrive so that we would enter the theatre together. The results are calamitous. Since we waited for everyone to arrive, we were thrown into the front 2 rows as the others had taken the good seats. Thanks to the virtue of the fact that it's free seating... ZzzZz... BUT! I'm so proud to say that we're united! That sacrifice is worth it.

Then was dinner at the Manhattan Fish Market. Had a Giant Platter. Loads of Seafood. Too bad didn't snap a picture of that. We thought Ben & Jerry's are irresistable. So we took a short walk to the Cathay. However, when Mr Genki got a 3-scooper for the group, only Yeow An seemed to be interested in the treat. Strange...
